Frankfort, and Lexington) to Restoring
Honor Rally Washington, DC
7 buses are going to see Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin and others at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in
Washington, D.C. on August 28, 2010 for the Restoring Honor Rally. This
non-political, non-partisan event will recognize our First Amendment rights and
honor the service members who fight to protect those
freedoms.
Buses #1,2,3 Leave Friday, August 27, 2010 NOTE NEW TIMES - buses leave earlier than first announced. Also NOTE NEW LOCATION PICK UP FOR LEXINGTON 4:00 pm A limited number of people from Indiana can park at Free Enterprise System, 1 Sodrel Drive, Jeffersonville, IN 47129. ( From I 65 Exit 1 onto Eastern Blvd East, Turn Right onto Sodrel Drive.) Go inside and register your car in the office. The front seats are reserved for the bus captain and co-captain. 5:30 pm Buses arrives at Evangel Church, 6900 Billtown Rd, Exit #19 off of the Gene Snyder Freeway. 6:00 pm Buses leaves Evangel in Louisville 6:30pm Buses arrive in Frankfort at Hampton Inn, 1310 US Hwy 127 S, Frankfort KY, Hotel number is ph (502) 223-7600 6:45pm Buses leave Frankfort 7:15pm Buses arrive at Cane Run Baptist Church, 4326 Iron Works Pike, Lexington, KY 40511 (Iron Works Pike is off of I 75, about 1 mile north of I 64) Brent H. is on bus #3 and will open the church so people can use the restroom before departure. 8:00 pm (or as soon as all passengers are on board) buses leave Lexington. Bus#1 will pick up 2 passengers in West Virginia at a rest stop. People are to remain on the bus at this stop. We will drive through the night and sleep on the
bus.

1 block to the church) 7:00 PM -Bus leaves Louisville, KY We will drive through the night and sleep on the
bus.
ALL BUSES Saturday, August 28, 2010 10AM - 1PM 4:30am - time approximate, all buses will stop at a truck stop to refuel and change drivers. Passengers have 1/2 hour to go in and freshen up. 10am - 1pm Attend the
Rally at the Lincoln Memorial 4:30pm Return on the bus, stop for dinner and sleep through the
night.
ALL BUSES Sunday, August 29, 2010 Arrive back in
Kentucky in the early morning.
Bring a pillow, light blanket, ear plugs or headphones, water, snacks, breakfast, lunch, more snacks in case we have a late dinner on Saturday night, hat, sunglasses,
money for meals, small camp chair. You are not allowed to bring alcohol or anything made of glass or any signs. You can bring a flag.
We may have to ride the metro into town, so pack light so you can carry everything and bring some $1 dollar bills.

Suggested Items to Bring on the trip to Washington DC 1) Things for the bus ride.
(1) Food for Friday night, breakfast and snacks for Saturday (in case we have to get a late dinner). (2) Bring your own coffee in a thermos if needed. (3) A pillow. (4) A blanket. (the bus may be to cold for some people) (5) Tylenol, Advil, Motion sickness medicine, and other medications (including prescriptions) if needed. (6) Nothing in glass, and no alcohol. (7) Deodorant/antiperspirant, wet wipes. (8) Money for other meals. (9) Toothpaste/toothbrush, Band-Aids, comfortable clothing, shaver, change of clothes. (10) Book or music. Videos will be provided.
2) Things for the rally. (1) Folding chair (or sit on your blanket) (2) Small fold up umbrella to protect from the sun. (3) Sunscreen. (4) Camera. (5) Extra water (optional: gatorade). (6) Snacks (and lunch). (7) Plastic bag to pick up garbage. (8) your cell phone fully charged.
3) Things we will provide. (1) Bottled water, 1 bottle each. (2) Videos for the bus ride. (the buses have TV?s and DVD players.)
